Dojo Mentoring: community 1:1
Dojo Mentoring runs without rounds or deadlines. After acceptance your match starts immediately and runs for 3 months.
Dojo Mentoring is for ages 18 and up.
Sensei share their experience as a community exchange, without guarantee. You are responsible yourself for decisions in your company.
- Sensei are experienced people from the community who guide mentees for 3 months.
- Anyone can become a Sensei once the profile is complete and the rules are accepted.
- Matching is always 1:1 between Sensei and mentee.
- You do not pick a person. You set topic, language, level, weekday and time window, and we fairly assign a matching Sensei.
- If a Sensei declines or does not answer within 3 days, your request automatically goes to the next matching person. You learn the name and contact details when someone accepts.
- Sensei guide 1 to 8 mentees at the same time, depending on their own capacity, and can pause accepting new mentees at any time.
- Sensei set their own time commitment, from 30 minutes per week to by arrangement.
- If nobody matches right now, you land on the waitlist and are assigned automatically once someone matches.
- After the end date both sides confirm completion. Only then does each side receive a certificate. The certificate confirms participation in a community initiative and is not a Microsoft certification.
Rules and safety
The rules apply to all roles. You also find the process for problems and data protection there.
Verify certificate
Each certificate has a verification ID. Use verification to check whether a confirmation is valid.
